The YDA provides subsidies to youths for planning on their own initiative for observership and research on specific themes at non-governmental organizations in the countries targeted by the New Southbound Policy, so as to enable them to observe and learn about local society, people and culture, and increase their opportunities to serve at international bodies and non-governmental organizations located there.
