I was greatly touched by the art counseling and truly felt its power. I would definitely like to join this team in the future to accompany others in a different way and grow with both adults and children together. This will be a fantastic job for me.
The students of Department of Child Development and Family Studies of the Tzu Chi University visited “Maochong Art” in Taipei to learn how they use art for therapy. By letting the counselees express their thoughts and emotions through painting, the therapist provides guidance on the relationship between the parents and the children during the process. This is an employment field they had never thought of in school, and after returning from this field trip, the students are more willing to stay in the classroom to study than ever.
